Mika Store's product catalogue is the foundation of your store. Every product you create can have a name, price, description, images, category, stock level and variants — all managed from a single dashboard without touching code. Whether you sell one handmade item or 25,000 SKUs, the same system handles it.

What you get
Catalogue scales from 500 products (Basic) to 25,000 (Advanced) — no migration needed as you grow
Variants with independent stock, pricing and images per option combination

Drag-and-drop sort order — control exactly what shoppers see first
Duplicate any product in one click — fast setup for similar SKUs
When to use this
Every store needs a catalogue. Use the variant system when you sell items in multiple sizes, colours, materials or configurations — like clothing, footwear, paint, furniture or hardware. Use categories to mirror the mental model your customers already have when they walk into a shop.
Best suited for
How to set it up
Go to Dashboard → Catalogue → Categories and create your top-level categories (e.g. Tools, Safety, Workwear)
Add sub-categories where needed — click a category and choose Add sub-category
Go to Products → Add product, fill in name, price, description and images
Select the correct category, set stock level (or leave blank to track as unlimited)
If the product has variants (Size, Colour etc.), click Add variant group and define the options
Save and publish — the product appears live in your storefront immediately
In practice
Create categories for Women, Men and Kids, each with sub-categories (Tops, Bottoms, Footwear). Add variant groups for Size and Colour per product. Assign each variant its own stock level and image. Shoppers browse by category or search by keyword — the gallery swaps when they pick a colour.
Import your existing product list via Bulk CSV Import. Map your supplier's columns to Mika Store's fields. Products land in the catalogue with categories and pricing intact — ready to sell without manual re-entry.
Create a Kit product for each gift box and link the component products (jams, sauces, crackers). Stock derives automatically from component inventory — the kit goes 'out of stock' the moment any component runs out.
Pro tips
Keep variant names consistent across products (always 'Size', never mixing 'Size' with 'Sizing') — it feeds the filter panel.
Use the Sort order drag handle to surface your most profitable or fastest-moving products first in every listing.
Product descriptions pull double duty for SEO — write them for the shopper but include the keyword phrases a buyer would search.
