To enable maintenance mode: toggle On, write your customer-facing message (e.g. 'Back in 1 hour β we're updating our catalogue'), and save
To enable staging mode: toggle On and enter your staging banner text
To disable ordering only: toggle 'Disable ordering' on and write a message (e.g. 'Orders are temporarily paused while we restock β back shortly')
Disable again when ready β the change is live within seconds
Pro tips
Never put the site in maintenance mode for longer than absolutely necessary β even 1β2 hours during business hours loses real revenue.
Use the staging environment first when testing significant design changes β don't experiment on live shoppers.
